Dining Services
Staff, faculty and community at large are welcome to dine at any of the UNK residence hall dining rooms. UNK residence halls serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday. University Transit Services (FOX World Travel)
The travel contract with Fox World Travel gives the University traveler access to:
- Airline – United, Delta, American, Southwest (discounts ranging from 10-25% off of published fares).
- Hotel – discounts at over 20,000 properties, both domestic and international. Discounts range from 10-40% off of corporate rates.
- Car – Complimentary membership to express memberships with National and Alamo Car Rentals. ($50 value). Supplemental Liability and Collision Damage Waiver insurance are NOT included when renting for personal travel and that different minimum age requirements apply for business and personal travel.
- Discounts are available for all UNK employees, consultants, speakers, or companions of a UNK traveler. Discounts could apply for personal travel. Consult with FOX World Travel for details.

Available to all University of Nebraska employees:
US Cellular
- Older plans (pre 5.1.12) get 10% off of entire plan.
- Newer plans get 15% off the data charge (6GB Plan minimum).
- Employment verification can be done at uscellular.com/partner with an organizational email address.
- If they do not have a work email address they can bring in proof of employment (ID badge, recent check stub) to any retail location.
- Once qualified, the discount will stay on their account for 24 months after which they will need to revalidate proof of employment.
