The Kearney Symphony Orchestra performs in the Fine Arts Recital Hall, located in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Building. Download a printable campus map.
Parking is free, and campus parking permits are not necessary after 5 p.m. Also, there are parking spaces set aside at the south end of Lot #13 for those with State Handicap Permits.
If this is your first time to visit the UNK campus, here are directions:
From the east: If you are arriving from the east on U.S. Highway 30/25th Street, turn right (north) at the intersection of 25th Street and Second Ave. Continue north to 29th Street. At 29th Street, turn left and continue west; 29th Street becomes University Drive at the northeast corner of the campus. Continue along University Drive until you see the Health and Sports Center. Turn left into the campus on the north side of Health and Sports, and continue east. The Otto Olsen Building will be on your right. The entrance to Lot #13 is at the east end of the Otto Olsen Building, and the Fine Arts Building is directly south of the Otto Olsen Building.
From the west: If you are arriving from the west on U.S. Highway 30/24th Street, turn left (north) on University Drive. Continue on University Drive until the Health and Sports Center is on your right. Enter the campus and continue east. The Otto Olsen Building will be on your right. The entrance to Lot #13 is at the east end of the Otto Olsen Building. The Fine Arts Building is directly south of the Otto Olsen Building.
NOTE: If you are coming to Kearney on I-80, enter Kearney at I-80 exit #272 and follow the directions for coming to campus from the south (see below).
From the south: If you are arriving in Kearney from the south, using U.S. Highway 44 or I-80, you will enter on Second Avenue. Continue north on Second Avenue until you reach 29th Street. At 29th Street, turn left and continue west; 29th Street becomes University Drive at the northeast corner of the campus. Continue along University Drive until you see the Health and Sports Center on your left. Turn left into the campus on the north side of Health and Sports, and continue east. The Otto Olsen Building will be on your right. The entrance to Lot #13 is at the east end of the Otto Olsen Building. The Fine Arts Building is directly south of the Otto Olsen Building.
From the north: If you are arriving in Kearney from the north on U.S. Highway 10/Second Avenue, continue south until you reach 29th Street. At 29th Street, turn right (west) and continue west; 29th Street becomes University Drive at the northeast corner of the campus. Continue along University Drive until you see the Health and Sports Center on your left. Turn left into the campus on the north side of Health and Sports, and continue east. The Otto Olsen Building will be on your right. The entrance to Lot #13 is at the east end of the Otto Olsen Building. The Fine Arts Building is located directly south of the Otto Olsen Building.
