"Being a Sports Management Major and now a Sports Administration Masters’ student, I have had the opportunity to engage in internships as part of both of my degrees. As an undergraduate student, I was able to intern for Baseball Australia within their Baseball Operations department. This year I was also able to intern for USA Baseball in their Prospect Development Pipeline department which then led to an opportunity to be on the coaching staff for MLB International. These internships have allowed me to strengthen my knowledge both within baseball as well as in the professional sporting world and I have been able to take what I have learned in the classroom at UNK and implement it into real life situations."
