Loper Launch is offering three academy options from 9:00am-12:00pm.

READING ACADEMY (Grades 1-3) | June 2-27, 2025

Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm

Loper Launch Reading Academy helps your student to be successful in their educational future:

• Avoid "summer learning loss"
• Develop a love of reading
• Instruction by certified teachers
• Improve (or maintain) your child's reading skills
• On-campus field trips

Cost: $280 per student ($180 per student if qualify for free/reduced lunch)

PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY (Grades 4-6) | June 2-27, 2025

Crane River Theater Performing Arts Academy is a unique opportunity to study the many aspects of music, theater, and dance with experts working in the field. You will learn choreography, make your own props, memorize dialogue, practice good singing techniques, and learn how to work as a team! At the end of the four weeks, we will put on a full performance! This academy is a collaboration with Crane River Theater.

Cost: $280 per student ($180 per student if qualify for free/reduced lunch)

SPEECH ACADEMY (Grades 1-4) | June 23-28, 2025

Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm

Does your child have an IEP for speech sounds? Or do you simply have concerns with their speech?

• Loper Launch Speech Academy provides:
• Instruction tailored to your student's sound errors
• Focused one-on-one teaching
• Games and activities with new speech friends
• Expertise of master's-level clinicians

Cost: $70 per student ($45 per student if qualify for free/reduced lunch)

One-Week Themed Workshops

Choose from a variety of one-week workshops, ranging from STEM to Art to History. There is something for everyone!

The classes are now three hours long, running from 9:00am – 12:00pm, giving our campers even more time to explore and learn. Each of our themed workshops are engaging, educational, and connected to the UNK campus.

Cost per workshop: $70 per student ($45 per student if qualify for free/reduced lunch)

Countdown Hour (Grades 1-8) | Each Week from 7:30 – 8:45am

Countdown Hour is a great opportunity for families who need an earlier drop-off. Students will be able to read, play games, complete a craft, or engage in educational technology. Our campers enjoy the non-structured, supervised time as they countdown to their workshop. Drop off anytime between 7:30-8:45am that is convenient for your family.

Cost: $10 per week; $6 if qualify for free/reduced lunch
